Wallstrip is a daily Web video show and accompanying blog that during 3 to 5 minutes, provides an amusing and informative take on a U.S. stock that is at or near its all-time high.
The Toronto-born and raised creator and executive producer Howard Lindzon runs Lindzon & Associates, an investment advisor in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as a hedge fund. Alongside producers Adam Elend and Jeff Marks, who write, produce and direct the show in New York, host Lindsay Campbell, and several other staff members, Mr. Lindzon's team launched the site in October.
On May 2007, Wall Strip confirmed TV channel CBS acquired the show. The transaction wasn't disclosed but is believed to be something in the $5 million range. Part of the deal involves Lindsay Campbell being the next former Rocketboom's anchorwoman Amanda Congdon. Campbell could be fronting for CBS' web initiatives.
