The Burg is an Internet and single-camera scripted series filmed mostly inside one apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and on a few street corners around its surroundings. Produced and created by Kathleen Grace (who also directs) and producer Thom Woodley (who also writes), The Burg lovingly mocks the angular-haircutted trust-fund babies who ride the L train.
The episodes, ranging from one to 15 minutes in length, are sponsored by Motorola. Whenever The Burg characters use a Motorola product, broadcast partner VideoEgg's technology will show a small ad window on the bottom of the video player that users can click to find out product information. VideoEgg will also show links to Motorola ad content after the episode plays.
