LA Ink is a reality show on TLC that follows the events of "High Voltage Tattoo", a tattoo studio in Los Angeles, California. It is a spinoff of TLC's Miami Ink and has debuted on August 7, 2007.
Each episode features a number of customers along with their backstories and motivations for choosing their tattoos. Due to the studio's Hollywood location, the clientele have included and will likely feature a number of celebrities. (from Wikipedia)
