Goodnight Burbank is an Internet series which ostensibly shows a nightly newscast broadcasting out of California. But this is more a comedy of relationships, as the dysfunctional co-anchors spar and joust, both during the broadcast and in off-air moments. Bloggers usually refer to the site as a mixture between The Office and The Daily Show.
Since launching the show in March '06, Goodnight Burbank's creator and lead actor Hayden Black has single-handedly steered the series to great success, picking up multiple awards (including Best Web News Series), accolades (iTunes' Best Podcast '06) and stellar reviews (LA Times, Wall St. Journal, TV Guide, USA Today, BBC, etc).
Other cast members include Rich Fulcher (the Mighty Boosh) and Carolyn Lawrence (Morel Orel, Spongebob Squarepants).
