Cooking up a story
Cooking up a story is an Internet video cast launched in May 2006 by Fred and Rebecca Gerendasy, an American couple that owns independent film company Potter Productions and produced two award-winning movies on the topic of BBQ.
The series consists of roughly six minutes episodes, covers one particular restaurant or cooking subject. Fred and Rebecca Gerendasy's strength is to offer an intimate look at their topics than other food videos, "stories that reveal the character and passion of real people who share a special connection with food and sustainable living", as they pitch their idea on their website.
As the show progresses, the couple narrows their focus to themes of sustainability, cooking recipes that mix quality food, social justice, and sensible environmental practices into.
