Big Love

Big Love is an HBO television drama about a Utah Fundamentalist Mormon family that practices plural marriage, a type of polygamy that is no longer officially endorsed by the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). Big Love stars Bill Paxton, Chloe Sevigny, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Ginnifer Goodwin and Harry Dean Stanton. It premiered in the United States on March 12, 2006.

The executive producers of BIG LOVE are Playtone's Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman and series creators Mark V. Olsen & Will Scheffer (writer of HBO's "In the Gloaming"), who produced the independent feature film "Easter."
