Faster and easier text edits in Zeboudoir

Sep 19, 2007

Wikis are powerful tools that are cool enough to enable people get around a text to update it without any software to download. But let's face it, although wiki syntax are easy to understand, adding all the usual markups is lame. And after a bunch of special characters, you're pretty lost in your text.

We're not letting this situation persist, are we? We like crystal clear user interface that anybody can handle without any fear to hit a bad command. And we'll show it. By a week or two from today (but closer to a week), you, dear users of ZeBoudoir, will see a huge difference here. When you want to edit a text portion, you'll get a rich text editor, pretty much the same editor than your Google mail editor. Updating a text will be straight forward, as simple as typing a text and hitting some buttons to turn it into bold or italic texts. You'll see, you'll love it that way.

Thanks for waiting a bit.

Video matrix: Compare all video sources

It may sound a bit familiar to early visitors but, yes, we're unpacking. As you have noticed it, site navigation and the toolbox could be a lot enhanced. To let aware of what we're doing, we're building community tools, such as video websites rating and website comparison matrix. We've postponed their development for a week; the content base wasn't big enough to make them relevant. But now, as ZeBoudoir's content is on the edge to surpass the 100 pages milestone, we believe those tools would help you get a faster and better picture of what a video source could bring to you.

If you haven't felt it yet, it means you're having a busy life in the real world (congrats!), but you're missing an arrival. Santa Vids. The New York Times said it here, "the potential of new streaming video services — fast, full screen and in sharp resolution — is unleashing a torrent of movies and television shows." There will probably be much more video programs which are coming to the Internet. We are here to guide you to online videos

Aug 06, 2007

A month ago, we just realized how hard to it was to get out of the new mainstream video sites. When we search for a music video clip, we check YouTube, maybe Google Video, and when we don't find the right piece, we query Veoh, DailyMotion, MySpaceTV and a few others.

Those sites are great to hang out, and without them, there wouldn't be this video new trend of the Internet. But in their wake, there are many less know video sites more focused on topics like cooking, home improvements or talking in public. We are here to guide you to them. It's our base line.
